Just a thought or 2

What businesses do we need in PH?

Where can we find these companies that will help us out by setting up shop in our town?

I'd love to have a one of everything right in my community. So what don't we have?

OOPS, that was 3 thoughts.

Help would be great- let's all go to the library on wed Aug 20th for that meeting at 7pm .

Have a good day and look around for what we need as your driving/bussing/ shopping around town.

Council Chambers. I met 2 council members at the strategic planning meeting. Mr. Palumbo and Mr. Underwood they were very interested in having a large group of people show up at the council meeting. This is our opportunity to be part of the changes that need to occur in Penn Hill. Also, another question for research, Is it true that Allegheny county has sectioned the eastern part of Pa as a section 8 housing development ?

Hi All,

I was catching up on some reading and ran across this article. Basically the Tribune is reporting the Penn Hills Council hired a new municipal manager last summer. And there's a requirement that the Manager live in Penn Hills. The new guy they hired is having a problem selling his current home in order to more here. Penn Hills Mayor who supports the residency requirement, plans to ask council to consider granting a 90-day extension, IF they can legally give him more time. ...

Ok, there are a lot of things our communtity could do to better itself. However, the foremost important thing is to bring back our tax base by creating new business fronts in these closed sites. How long has Taco Bell been closed? It has been rumored to reopen how many times? Then you have the sites that are by Burger King and Hoss Steak house. The old Foodland - which I miss so much! We have lived here for 19 yrs.We have been part of the neighborhood by helping our neighbors and friends with many projects ranging from brick jobs to flower beds to Jafra pampering and even painted a few walls. I live where Hope lives and she's a great neighbor and friend. Contact me for your pampering helping hands with Jafra.

Hi All, my name is Kathy(and yes, David is my husband) and my family moved here 40 years ago. I still live in the same house. When I got married my parents moved to an apartment and a few years later we bought it from them. We thought about moving several years ago but we love our house, our yard, and our neighborhood. We have 5 children in 4 different schools and we believe that Penn Hills is a great place to live and we want to again be proud to say we live in Penn Hills.
