Penn Hills Dog Park needs your help!

Do you use the Penn Hills dog park? Then perhaps you would be interested in being part of a new group: "Friends of the Penn Hills Dog Park."

Folks are currently in the midst of forming this group. The point of the group is to fundraise money that would be used exclusively for dog park improvements (which could include anything from the purchase of a new sign to renting a port-o-john to sponsoring programming, etc...). With respect to fundraising one can imagine
doing anything ranging from holding funraising events to going to dog-related businesses to get advertising around the park - money used from ads could go to park improvements.

The Penn Hills public library has a "Friends of the Library" group that serves a similar function for the library.
